عبدالرضا نوروزی، نایب رییس کمیسیون فناوری اطلاعات و ارتباطات اتاق بازرگانی ایران در گفت‌وگو با خبرنگار اقتصادی ایلنا در مورد تاثیرات فیلترینگ بر اقتصاد و تجارت کشور گفت: دوستانی که فیلترینگ را در برنامه‌های کاری خود قرار دادند ابعاد زیان آن را نمی‌دانند. در حد پایین دستی، وقتی فیلتر انجام می‌شود فیلترشکن رواج می‌یابد، یک بازار کسب و کار که مشخص نیست پشت آن چه کسانی وجود دارند از طریق این فیلترشکن‌ها به وجود می‌آید که هزینه آن از جیب مردم می‌رود. از طرفی هم وقتی فیلترشکن‌ها عمومی می‌شوند، بسیاری به سایت‌هایی دسترسی پیدا می‌کنند که ممکن است از نظر شرایط سنی، اخلاقی و غیره مناسب نباشد و خسارات زیادی از این نظر به وجود آورده است. من فکر می‌کنم برای یک بار هم که شده حاکمیت باید در این مورد تصمیم بگیرد. البته در طرف مقابل باید درک کرد که نظام یا دولت چه نگرانی‌هایی از بابت این مسائل دارد، برای آن برنامه‌ریزی کرد تا متضرر نشوند. بخش خصوصی واقعی بسیار نگران است که بعد از تغییر و تحولات دولت یا حتی انتهای این دولت برای انتخابات، حرکاتی مانند فیلترینگ گسترده‌تر صورت بگیرد.
