- اما آنچه این روزها بهعنوان مالیات از تورم از آن یاد میشود (و قالیباف و پزشکیان نیز در مناظرات به آن اشاره کردند) مالیات بر ارزش افزوده مصرفکننده نهایی و مالیات بر عایدی سرمایه است.
- قانون مالیات بر ارزش افزوده در سال ۱۳۸۷ توسط مجلس برای اجرای آزمایشی تصویب شد؛ اما در سال ۹۵ (زمان وزارت طیبنیا) اجرای آزمایشی این قانون دوباره توسط مجلس تمدید شد.
- طیبنیا در آن زمان (۱۳۹۵) به وضوح و شفاف با این قانون مخالف بود.
- همچنین او در مجلس اظهار کرد: به طور حتم این قانون دارای موضوعاتی است که مشکلات بسیاری را برای دولت، شهرداری ها و شورایاری ها ایجاد میکند.
- قانون مالیات بر عایدی سرمایه نیز در سال ۱۴۰۲ و به پیشنهاد خاندوزی وزیر اقتصاد تصویب شد.
